These terms are the agreement between you and Cannappy ("we", "us") for the Vèra mobile app and the services behind it. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it. Questions: .

Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data and is part of these terms.

1. Who can use Vèra

You must be at least 18. You are responsible for what you do in the app and for keeping your device secure. Vèra keeps your closet under an anonymous code on your device (and under your Facebook sign-in, if you choose it), so if you lose your device or delete the app you may lose access to your closet.

2. What Vèra is

Vèra is a wardrobe and styling app: a digital closet, a style read, outfit suggestions, and optional previews of clothes on a photo of you. Suggestions and previews are creative and informational. They are not professional advice, and a preview is an image generated by AI, not a guarantee of how a garment will fit, look or feel on you.

3. Your content

Your clothing photos stay on your device. If you run a try-on, you give us permission to send the photo you choose, and the garment cut-outs, to our image providers for the sole purpose of producing that image (see the privacy policy for how they are handled and deleted). You keep ownership of your photos and of the images made from them. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the features you use.

You promise that:

you own the photos you use or have the right to use them, and, if a photo shows another person, that person has agreed;
you will not upload anything unlawful, sexual, hateful, or that shows a child;
you will not use Vèra to impersonate someone, to mislead others, or to make images meant to harm or harass anyone.

We may refuse or remove content that breaks these rules.

4. Credits and purchases

Try-on and scenes use in-app credits. Some are free each day; more may be offered as an in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms. Refunds are handled by them under their policies. Unused credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and may be adjusted if a purchase is refunded. Prices and the number of credits can change; a change never affects credits you already hold.

If a try-on fails on our side, the credit is returned.

5. Using the app fairly

Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, get around credit or usage limits, or use automated tools to access it. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service or other people.

6. Third-party services

Vèra relies on services from others: image providers, analytics, Meta (for install measurement and optional Facebook sign-in), Apple, Google, and map data from OpenStreetMap. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their services.

7. Our property

The app, its design, the Vèra name and logo, and its code belong to us or our licensors. You may use the app for your own personal use, and nothing here transfers ownership to you.

8. Changes to the service

We may change, pause or end features, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter to you. You can stop using Vèra at any time and can ask us to delete your data (see data deletion). We may end your access if you break these terms.

9. No warranty

Vèra is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that previews or suggestions will suit you. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

10. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of Vèra. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and its date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
